NEW ADA GUIDELINES AND BOARD OF REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS
The American Dental Association (ADA) and the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry have set new regulations and guidelines effective August 2010.
Recognizing the increased demand for infection prevention guidance in dental facilities they have issued a statement to dental practices to follow the CDC's Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health Care Settings as well as address and implement other regulatory changes as highlighted below:

- Hand Sanitizer Restrictions
- Dental Instrument Processing
- Dental Water-Quality Concerns For Dental Unit Waterline
The Dental Board Of Registration New Requirements: The new regulations include sweeping changes that significantly expand the scope of previous regulations applicable to all dental practices.
